Snowy Barn Owl

This poor old Barn Owl continued to hunt from the posts for a while today in the snow. The look on his face suggests he doesn't like it very much.

Early Start

Went out early today and found a new Barn Owl which which sat on this post
and let me get really close.

and finally the sun rose and I got a few shots of this Barn Owl in good light

On the way back I had a quick look at the feeders and this Robin showed well

as did this Nuthatch

a couple of Song Thrush were feeding in the grounds which is excellent,
hopefully get some good ones of these soon.

Woodland Birds

Checked the feeders for a couple of hours today, quite busy but the Great Spotted Woodpeckers will not come close again, i'll have to try something different.

But the Nuthatch put on a good show as always,

as did this Wren which is the first time here,

a few Coal Tits made an appearance

and a Robin came close, a pretty good couple of hours again.
